This week is Bike Week 2023. Actually, it’s Bike Week 100, as this year it is celebrating its centenary.
Cycling UK promotes this week as a celebration of everyday cycling for everyone, and at Connect we like to celebrate it by encouraging our team members to do the right thing and to choose the bike instead of the car.
A lot of our work focusses on designing and delivering sustainable developments with non-car travel choices for all, and where better to start those choices than at our own homes and workplace?
Here we have our two Tims posing with their mountain bikes. There aren’t many mountains on either of their ways home, and those surely aren’t the most efficient of commuting bikes, but well done to both of them for making the effort and making the right choice.
